Overview

This is a new program covering the parts of the program that can save you thousands in citations if followed closely. I will walk you through each step from the time the injury occurred until the injured employee can return to work full-time. Why this program reduces the need for an attorney by as much as 70%. In addition, what OSHA requires you to have in documentation for each step. I will also cover the claim form details that are required in addition to the claim form furnished by your worker’s compensation carrier.

Area Covered

  • What kind of guide should you follow to put an acceptable return to work program together?
  • How to get your worker's compensation carrier to consider giving you premium credit for your program
  • How to address a possible injury claim before it happens.

Why Should You Attend

Why a list of modified work should be made, so the doctor at the clinic can assign work based on his injury? Examples of modified work will be given.

Who Will Benefit?

  • Owners of small businesses, Hr’s, and all supervisors

Speaker

Gary Heppner specializes in Safety/OSHA compliance, setting up safety programs, and managing open injury claims in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. As an insurance broker and agency owner for 30 years, he handled many workers' compensation accounts. He gained the expertise and experience that most safety consultants lack—assisted with over 23 OSHA Consultative Visits from OSHA over the last 19 years. Speaking on Webinars Monthly to all 50 states for the last 1.5 years. Held 1-hour webinar for equipment rental agencies in North America. Featured one month in Equipment Rental Agencies monthly magazine. Conducted over 100 + "OSHA Mock OSHA Audits" for clients to determine compliance

Currently working with four accounts at a time out of California, two of which are roofers in the past 2- years. Both roofers underwent and passed an on-site OSHA audit because they are “high-hazard employers”. Today, he has a success rate of 95% in reducing claims and increasing communication between employers and those involved in safety compliance, which translates into lower premiums for his clients and thus increased profits.
